At Ivory Park Community Center, our story is woven with threads of resilience, compassion, and community spirit. Founded with a vision of fostering positive change and empowering individuals, our journey began with a deep-seated commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

She started by using her resources and the much she could do was to feed the vulnerable children in her community. She had worked before with Noah's Ark which was also having the same passion and vision as hers, when Noah's Ark closed, Julia continued with the same project in her house because she felt the kids who were coming to the centre could not be abandoned.

Our story is rooted in the vibrant community of Midrand, where individuals from diverse backgrounds come together to create a tapestry of strength and solidarity. Recognizing the challenges facing our community – from poverty and inequality to social injustice and environmental degradation – a group of passionate individuals came together to establish Ivory Park Community Center.
